The starting point for this blog was to collect good news about local acts of kindness, in and around Gauteng. All the bad and/or sensational news going around really isn't something that makes my day. I do not watch the news or read any newspapers, and I do not listen to the radio - all because of this.
When Googling for "good news", the only "Good News" seems to be about big companies and what they did with their big money to attract attention, or to get more money through government funds.
Then, finally, the website for the Daily Good popped up. It is more than worth it to follow this website. The only drawback for me is that there are no stories from Gauteng, South Africa. So this blog has been started as a way to discover how many good acts are done all around me.
I would like to invite you, to tell me about the goodness and good news in your day-to-day life here, in Gauteng.
